Teaching Philosophy

My slogan has always been “don’t comfort yourself with mediocrity” is the way I have always lived, worked, studied, and the way I have always make everything and I will apply that on my profession too. I don’t like mediocre things I don’t like working that way. That’s why when I’ll become a teacher I will give my students a higher education, I have seen how teachers settle for a mediocre education just because they’re tired of the students, tired of the Educational System or tired of teaching. I know what being a student is and is really frustrating when you see an unmotivated teacher. That’s why I promised that I will never lose my passion for teaching, motivation is everything it will not only benefit yourself but it will benefit your students too because if they see enthusiasm in you they will be interest  too.
In Puerto Rico sometimes the students see the learning of English as something compulsory, learning a second language is not an easy task that’s why for me as a future teacher it will be fundamental that they will see the English course as something they will enjoy, something that is not difficult and something they can take advantage from. My objectives will be to never lose my passion for teaching and to never be mediocre at it.
As a teacher I would like my students to learn the acquisition of life-long learning skills, for me that’s crucial because I will not only be momentarily teaching them something, I will be shaping they’re future I will be making them belter human beings. My north star is to never lose interest in the profession and to hope that I’ll be making changes in the students education and lives. My teaching philosophies are not grandiose but I know I will make an impact in my student’s lives, students need role models, they need advice, they need someone they can look up to and I want to be that teacher, I want to be the teacher that they’ll remember the most.
